Musing Time! I’m a guitarist, a comic artist, a bassist, a Step-Dad, a brother, a son, and an uncle. I’m a plating operator, a former cart-pusher, and a former professional piano-mover. A gamer and a computer enthusiast. I’m a Christian and a middle ground Conservative (although my political views are usually kept to myself anyways). I’m a lover and a randomtiviter. I’m an anime enthusiast, with a particular liking towards complex story-lines.  I’m a geek and a nerd, but also a former jock (which still exists from time to time). I’m an American, but definitely a Texan.

But the one thing I want to point out is that I’m a Brony. I’m a normal everyday heterosexual guy, and I have taken a liking to this particular show known as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic whose original demographic used to be for little 5 year old girls, but has gained an immense fanbase for young men like myself. For the most part, I’ve kept it mostly hidden since most of my friends usually raise an eyebrow on this. Converting won’t avail much either. In fact, I’m not going to try to convert anyone. But one thing that I have learned from this show is tolerance. Yeah, I’ll most likely get made fun of at work for wearing a brony shirt, but its hard to take them seriously anyways. However, I’m making it known that I love My Little Pony (gosh, it almost sounds like I’m coming out of the closet…except without all the homosexuality of it all).

I’m not expecting you guys to go out and watch the first couple of episodes on youtube or anything, just know that we exist.

Punix-GT 9/26/2011 Staring Contest

So this wasn’t exactly a hilarious comic, but a cute play on words, and deep thoughts.

I’ve always had a fascination with stars for as long as I can remember, looking at them, stared at the moon, solar and lunar eclipses, always tried to make sure I got to see the Perseid Meteor shower every year. I may not have memorized the whole star maps, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be a total fan of the universe. I’m incredibly ready for space-travel and colonizing the moon/mars, even though we’re not quite at that technological point yet and I’m sure there are also millions of other people who have the same thought as I.

Whether or not there are any alien life, it doesn’t matter to me, although the thought of sharing the universe is rather appealing to me. I enjoy looking at the stars and the complexity of our scientific world, even the complex structure of something we all know as the periodical table. Its hard to imagine that those elements just so happen to exist. Its just another ponder-able thought.
